MVP of Game vs. Rip City

Nick Radice wins the vote for MVP of the game last week against Rip City. He had an outstanding game with his hat trick and his assist on McKeons great goal. He won with 46% of the vote, with Steven Howard coming in a close second with 33% of the vote after his great performance. Radice definitely deserved this award.

December 12, 2009 Game

Fake Madrid had another great game against Motocraft Blue this week, beating them 4-3. Newcomer Cameron Boersig had a great game as he led the team with 2 goals. Nick Radice and Matt McDonough each had goals also. Phil Paridy(C), Nick Radice, and Wes Winkelmann each had an assist this game. Fake Madrid had great play from Tyler Brandt, the goalkeeper, who let in 2 of the 3 goals, but had very many important saves. The defense was led by Pat McKeon and Parker Conover once again. Fake Madrid had an outstanding first game as they beat Rip City 5-3. With great play from Steven Howard in goal and amazing appearances by Nick Radice, Pat McKeon, and Parker Conover the Fake Madrid club was victorious. Nick Radice stunned many with his hat trick on Saturday, Pat McKeon had possibly the goal of the year with his volley off the Radice pass, and Parker Conover had a great double scissors to fool the defenders and score. We also saw some great defensive performances by Scott Russo (A), Connor Pratt, Pat McKeon, and Johnny Moore. Overall this game was an outstanding team effort.
